With Q4 nearing, we decided to share some of the key Amazon Q4 dates Amazon sellers should look out for starting this September. Open your calendars and read on to make sure you know the important dates to track for your Amazon business.

September 2 – Labor Day is a Federal holiday, so USPS, UPS, and other major carriers won’t be operating.

September 7 – The deadline to submit 7 Day Deals, Best Deals, and Lightning Deals to Amazon is normally around this time. In 2023, Amazon opened a submission window for sellers, meaning you can see alerts in your Seller Account.

September 12 – This is the last day inventory can arrive in FBA for the Prime Fall Deal Event.

October 1-7 – This is Golden Week in China. It’s a nationally observed holiday, meaning many manufacturers and suppliers in the country won’t be open for business during this time, so plan accordingly.

October 14 – This is Indigenous People’s Day (formerly Columbus Day), and most carriers offer limited service in observance of it.

October 19 – This is the last day inventory can arrive in FBA for Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and the overall holiday season. With shipping delays and projected supply chain bottlenecks, we recommend you do this even earlier if possible. Work with MyFBAPrep for one- to three-day prep turnaround to get your items into FBA lightning fast!

October 31 – This is the last day you have to order inventory before Chinese New Year, which will occur on January 29, 2025. Plan your supply accordingly.

November 11 – This is Veteran’s Day. USPS will be closed, but most other carriers will offer limited services (e.g., no overnight services).

November 25 – Thanksgiving Day; we all know what that means!

November 29 – This is Black Friday, when the Q4 sales rush begins.

December 2 – This is Cyber Monday, so get ready for those electronics sales.

December 20 – We recommend you send out all holiday gifts no later than this date.

December 24-26 – Christmas Eve through Boxing Day means limited to no service from any carrier. Most of your shipments should be out by this time though.

December 25-January 2 – This period covers Hanukkah, so plan accordingly if you or your partners plan to take this off for this holiday.

December 31-January 1 – New Year’s Eve through New Year’s Day means most carriers aren’t open for business. It’s a federal holiday, so there’ll be no USPS service. In addition, most carriers stop service for any deliveries not pre-arranged by December 26.
