Below are answers to the most common questions about MyFBAPrep. Please contact us if you did not find your answer.

General information

Where is MyFBAPrep located?

Our corporate headquarters are based in Florida, but our warehouses are located strategically across North America, Europe, APAC, and beyond.

How soon can I get started?

As soon as your subscription becomes active, you will be able to submit orders, which will be received by our warehouses upon landing.

What kind of customers do you work with?

We work with some of the largest eCommerce sellers across Amazon, Shopify, and other sales channels to handle their FBA prep, D2C fulfillment and other warehousing needs. Our customers use wholesale, private label and several other sales model.

Do you work with new sellers?

Our minimum units per month is 15,000, which is typically higher than a new business needs. For this reason, we tend to work with established businesses that are looking to optimize their supply chain.

Where are your warehouses located?

We have 50+ warehouses globally. We don't share our warehouse addresses unless you are a MyFBAPrep customer, but you can view the states we have a warehouse in on our About Us page.

Can you add labels to our boxes?

Yes, we break containers/truckloads into case units with compliant labeling. We also do high volumes of eaches/individual FNSKU labeling and multi-pack/variety pack VAS work.

Do you offer storage services?

We are primarily a prep company, and don't accept accounts that are primarily for storage. We can store items for sellers who need and use our other services, with a minimum of 15,000 units per month. We start charging storage fees for items with us longer than one month.

Do you offer quality control services? Can you inspect each product for defects?

For FBA prep, each item is inspected, labeled, and poly bagged if required by Amazon. For carton forwarding, we do not inspect each unit by default, but can upon request.

Shipment process

Can your clients ship with Amazon Vendor Central?

Yes, we manage both 3P and 1P relationships for large Amazon sellers. Out client teams are all well versed in Vendor Central and Seller Central.

How quickly will you ship my products out?

Your products will ship out of our warehouse to Amazon fulfillment centers within several days provided you have entered your order into Preptopia®, the warehouse has the information needed to complete the work and your Seller Central inventory is updated and accurate.

Will you create my Amazon shipping plans and print Amazon shipping labels for me?

Yes! Our platform communicates with the Seller Central API to create shipments and our warehouses will access Seller Central to retreive labels and complete other steps as required by Amazon. In some cases, customers choose to manage this process themselves or we ask them to do so due to the nature of their business, inventory or processes.

How do you ship my products to Amazon warehouses?

MyFBAPrep utilizes Amazon couriers to send out your products, which means lower cost shipping to you! Cost of shipping will be deducted from your account within Seller Central. For Hazmat shipments, our warehouses will assume the cost of shipping, which will be included in the costs for the relevant order and on your MyFBAPrep invoice.

Do you accept full and partial containers?

Yes! Please specify this within the notes as you are submitting new orders. Container unload pricing will be charged separately and pricing for palletized vs floor loaded containers will be different.

What service do you use to ship to FBA warehouses? Is there a flat rate?

Our sellers are responsible for sending inventory into the MyFBAPrep warehouse network, we do not provide inbound delivery. There is also a FTL unload fee for floor loaded containers and palletized full truckloads.

We will have our FNSKU barcodes applied to each product by our manufacturer. Are you able to apply the FBA labels to the boxes prior to shipping to FBA warehouses?

Yes we can apply FBA box labels prior to shipping to Amazon.

Payment and pricing

Do I need to pay a set-up fee?

No, we do not charge our customers a setup fee unless a deep level of customization is required to support their business and it is discussed upfront.

Are there additional fees beyond the standard prep fee?

Pricing for additional services (in addition to the standard prep fee): Bundle or multipack (up to 2 items): $.50/bundle Bundle (3-5 items) $.75 Additional fees for larger bundle sizes apply Fragile/Bubble wrap: $.50 additional Oversized/overweight: $.50 additional Boxes: Price varies by size Container unload - palletized: $450 Container unload - floor loaded: $1,000

What are the terms of a subscription?

Standard prep includes: receiving & inspection, FNSKU labeling, polybag, warning label, sticker removal, shipping prep, pick up to Amazon. No minimum term. Pro-rated refunds for partial months will not be issued. Cancel any time – cancellations are effective upon completion of customer’s current billing cycle, including the first month. Billing for selected subscription amounts to occur automatically at the beginning of each month. Billing for overages beyond the minimum amount to occur at the end of each month. Billing for additional products and services such as boxes, bundles, etc. will be billed at the end of each month. Per unit pricing for the selected tier will apply for ALL units, even those that exceed the minimum number of units (customers will NOT automatically be placed into the higher tier in the middle of a subscription cycle.

Do you offer pricing per unit/SKU for FBA prep services? Is it a flat rate?

Please see our Pricing Page for a breakdown of our prices. We have a minimum engagement volume of 5000 units/month for a per-unit flat rate. Please note we are a monthly subscription company, so your volume should meet that threshold reliably each month to qualify.

What is your pricing structure?

For prep (whether FBA or other channels), we are a subscription-based company that charges a service fee monthly. Units do not roll over, and we charge extra for boxes, bubble wrap, and storage over one month. We have custom pricing for carton forwarding, fulfillment, and value-added services.

Other Details

Are there any types of products you do not accept?

Currently, many of our warehouses do not accept cold storage items. Please reach out to hello@myfbaprep.com with your exact products to check if we can accept them.

Does your company receive shipments directly from manufacturers in China?

Yes, we're happy to receive shipments directly from overseas manufacturers, and get them ready to sell in the USA. If you prefer to have us send items directly into FBA, you never even need to open a box.

Can you repackage our products in new boxes before shipping to FBA?

We understand that sometimes boxes are in bad shape coming from manufacturers. Our warehouses will try to re-use as many boxes as possible, but for items that need new packaging we can switch out the box. There is an additional box fee depending on the size of the box needed to ship the unit.

Can you do an EDI integration?

Yes we do fully compliant EDI integrations, either directly ourselves with the warehouse and the client, or via a partner like Celigo depending on the client preference.
