Hello, MyFBAPrep Sellers!
Today we’re sharing a few updates Amazon made to their SFP program (for new and existing SFP sellers), how to reduce returns, and more resources for FBA prep.
On June 29, 2025, Amazon quietly recalibrated its Seller-Fulfilled Prime (SFP) and Priority Shipping Options (PSO). If you’re not ready to adapt at speed, your margins are already under pressure.
Some of the highlights:
* Streamlined trial management
* Raised performance bars for active SFP sellers
* Unlocked Priority Shipping Options (with some caveats)
Let’s face it: returns are part of the eCommerce game. And while they’re expected, they can also be expensive. From shipping fees to added operational workload, returns quickly add up. For brands, every return is a moment that can impact customer satisfaction, retention, and overall business health.
That’s why eCommerce returns management has become a key focus for brands looking to stay competitive. A solid reverse logistics strategy through a third-party logistics (3PL) provider can help improve product quality, streamline operations, and create a smoother experience for both businesses and customers.
So, let’s explore the most common reasons behind returns and the proven strategies for managing them. We’ll explain how a 3PL partner can help streamline operations and create a resilient and customer-friendly returns process.

Amazon Sellers: Have you made FBA prep plans yet?
Amazon announced it will permanently discontinue all in-house FBA prep and labeling services as of January 1, 2026
This change means Amazon will cut the following services:
❌ No more polybagging, bubble-wrapping, or labeling
❌ No exceptions after January 1, 2026
❌ Full compliance falls on the seller
Every shipment must arrive fully prepped and compliant
Non-compliance = rejected shipments, delays, fees, or worse — suspended accounts
Demand for third-party FBA prep partners will surge before the deadline
What are your options now?
1️⃣ Build in-house prep operations (labor, equipment, QC)
2️⃣ Partner with a trusted FBA prep provider that’s Amazon-certified
The brands that prepare early will secure the best partners, pricing, and capacity. Late movers risk bottlenecks and costly mistakes.
